bolttech to participate in the inaugural Aurora Marathon 2025

Nineteen runners will be representing the company at the race in Alta, Norway

Singapore, 24 February 2025 – bolttech, the fast-growing global insurtech, is proud to announce its participation in the bolttech Aurora Marathon 2025 on 25 February 2025 in Alta, Norway. A team of nineteen bolttech runners are set to take on the challenge, which is set against the backdrop of the Finnmarksvidda plateau in the Norwegian Arctic – a formidable challenge for even the most seasoned athletes.

This event follows bolttech’s successful participation in the bolttech Antarctica Ice Marathon 2023, capturing the team’s focus on health, wellness and spirit of adventure. Alta, situated in Norway’s northernmost region, is celebrated for its breathtaking natural scenery and vibrant cultural history. Nestled where the sea meets the vast Finnmarksvidda plateau, Alta offers a distinctive geographic landscape.

The marathon route features three challenging loops around the plateau, where participants will face freezing winds and sub-zero temperatures that test their endurance and resilience. The final stretch towards the finish line at Gargia Lodge presents its own set of challenges, with steep and slippery slopes requiring careful navigation.
