bolttech Korea signs MOU to build an insurance service platform integrating with LG Electronics’ AI-based solution, EVA

The partnership will leverage risk data from EVA to enable insurance connectivity between enterprises and insurers

SEOUL, South Korea – 2 April 2026 – bolttech, a leading global insurtech company (CEO Ko Kwang-bum), announced that it signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Korea with LG Electronics at its Seoul headquarters. The partnership intends to build a next-generation insurance service model powered by AI-driven risk detection. By leveraging real-time risk data detected by EVA across industrial sites, the collaboration aims to enhance on-site risk management and improve safety outcomes, while exploring an innovative business model that connects prevention technology with insurance.

EVA is a physical AI solution that identifies potential hazards in industrial environments in real time and supports safer operations through early risk identification and response. It is currently used across multiple industries, including manufacturing. bolttech will integrate LG Electronics’ AI based intelligent security solution, EVA, into its platform to enable the analysis of risk data and the integration of insurance services.

Compared to traditional corporate insurance models that rely primarily on historical claims data, this collaborative model enables more flexible and proactive risk management, insurance integration and utilization based on real-time industrial data.

Under the agreement, both companies will collaborate to develop insurance-linked service models based on real-time risk data. LG Electronics will provide risk data generated through EVA and technical support, while bolttech Korea will lead platform-based business development and facilitate connections with insurance carriers. Through a single API-based plug-and-play structure, enterprises and insurers can be connected without complex development processes.

Together, building on bolttech’s global network, both companies will explore potential opportunities for broader application to scale this model in Korea and beyond.

Ko Kwang-bum, CEO of bolttech Korea, said: “Connecting AI-generated industrial data with insurance marks an important step in the evolution of corporate insurance. We will continue to evolve this into a scalable structure applicable to global markets.”

Cho Bong-su, Vice President of the AI Solution Division at LG Electronics, added: “EVA’s risk data is a key enabler for innovation in how enterprises utilize insurance. Through this collaboration, we will validate data-driven insurance integration models and expand global business opportunities.”
