With demand for refurbished devices surging as consumers increasingly look to reduce the environmental impact of their purchases, Back Market’s UK insurance offer follows the successful launch of its device protection programme in France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Italy and the Netherlands, providing cover for refurbished devices against everyday risks.
Fast and easy service offers hassle-free customer experience
The new insurance offered by Back Market in the UK covers refurbished mobile devices against everyday risks such as breakage, corrosion, as well as liquid damage.
Customers can make a claim very easily – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – via a dedicated website creating a very simple and fast customer experience.
When a claim is made, priority is given to repairing the device, with simple repairs being undertaken by a local repair centre. For more complicated repairs, customers can send their device to a specialised technical centre. If the device is unrepairable, policyholders receive a voucher that can be used to purchase a replacement device on the Back Market site.
