How bolttech boosted sales efficiency and revenue with AI
At bolttech, optimising our retail sales efforts is essential for scaling our impact. Through partnering with AmDocs Studios and Databricks, we have implemented a powerful solution driven by advanced data science and AI models, that has successfully optimised our retail field operations in several key areas:
Cost Efficiency: AI model computing costs were reduced by 80%, allowing us to allocate resources more effectively.
Enhanced Sales Efficiency: Our sales ambassadors now save 3.5% of their time in the field, enabling them to focus on high-impact engagements.
Revenue Growth: Through optimising store visits using AI, we achieved a 2.3% increase in revenue without the need to expand our workforce.
This collaboration has also allowed bolttech to leverage clean data sources, including store locations, protection plan sales, and product warranties, to gain targeted insights that drive real-time decision-making.
According to Romain Barraud, bolttech’s Global Head of AI and Data Science:
“The computation gives 2.3% increase in terms of revenue. And if you think about it, same resources, you don’t change the rest per se. You just optimise the route of your salespeople so that they go to the store where you detect that the performance is a bit lower, or that perhaps needs a bit more visit.
Then instead of making 100, you make 100 and 2.3. That’s quite something in reality. This project, we’re not just engineers — we’re enablers. This project created proximity, performance, and set the stage for the future.”
