bolttech has won the Best-in-Class Insurtech Implementation category at the IBSi Global FinTech Innovation Awards (GFIA) 2025, recognising our successful partnership with Taiwan Mobile (TWM) to embed insurance seamlessly into digital customer journeys.
In 2023, bolttech signed a landmark deal with TWM, one of Taiwan’s largest telecommunications providers, and went live just a month later with 13 travel insurance products underwritten by Fubon Insurance. Our white-label insurance platform was fully integrated into TWM’s app and website, enabling customers to purchase coverage in under three minutes using their existing account and billing setup.
This implementation delivered:
- 35.6% growth in insured users within the first year
- 29% conversion rate for registered users
- 12,500+ customers reached through the embedded platform
- 5x higher conversion via SMS and push notifications compared to other channels
By combining compliance automation, real-time policy issuance, and data-driven marketing, we helped TWM pioneer telco-fintech convergence and set a new benchmark for embedded insurance.
