iProtec+ with AppleCare Services brings together AppleCare Services, loss and theft insurance, and ID Protect in one integrated device protection offering

SEOUL, South Korea, 21 SEP 2026 – bolttech, a leading global insurtech company (Ko Kwang-bum, Regional General Manager for Korea), today announced the launch of iProtec+ with AppleCare Services in partnership with Lotte Hi-Mart, building on the companies’ existing collaboration on device switching services in Korea. The service provides integrated protection for customers purchasing the new iPhone 18 Pro lineup. The offering combines AppleCare Services, loss and theft coverage, and personal data monitoring in a single solution designed to give customers greater peace of mind throughout their device ownership journey.

As smartphones become increasingly central to daily life, customers face growing risks ranging from accidental damage and device loss to theft. With additional personal data monitoring services, iProtec+ with AppleCare Services is designed to help protect against these risks through a single integrated offering.

iProtec+ with AppleCare Services brings together three areas of protection in a single offering:

AppleCare Services: Includes repairs for accidental damage, as well as a 24-month extended warranty including battery replacement if capacity drops below 80%.
Loss and theft insurance: Customers whose devices are lost or stolen during the 24-month coverage period may receive one replacement, subject to an excess fee equivalent to 50% of the device’s recommended retail price.
ID Protect: A personal data monitoring service accessible through Protection Hub, a dedicated online platform that also serves as the portal for loss and theft claims.

Customers can purchase iProtec+ with AppleCare Services through Lotte Hi-Mart’s online and offline channels. Following enrolment, customers can access Protection Hub, a dedicated online portal that provides access to ID Protect and supports loss and theft claims services.

bolttech Korea provides the integrated protection offering, while Lotte Hi-Mart serves as the distribution partner. Insurance coverage for accidental damage, loss and theft will be provided by Shinhan EZ General Insurance, while ID Protect will be covered by Europ Assistance, a global assistance services provider.
