Jubilee Health partners with global insurtech bolttech to accelerate embedded health insurance across East Africa
Nairobi, Kenya, 23 July — Jubilee Health Insurance (“Jubilee Health”), a leading health insurer in East Africa, today announced a strategic partnership with global insurtech bolttech to power embedded health insurance distribution across the region.
As part of the partnership, Jubilee Health will leverage bolttech’s API-driven technology platform to make health insurance products available in their distribution partners’ existing customer journeys. The platform will support product configuration, partner onboarding, policy purchase and administration, and claims management.
API integration with Jubilee Health via the bolttech platform will now allow customers to access health protection coverage through any partner’s app or website in a single customer journey.
The collaboration reflects a shift away from traditional health insurance distribution towards embedded, ecosystem-driven models. These models integrate access to health cover directly into the financial, retail and service platforms customers already use and trust.
By embedding health cover into platforms customers already use the model improves access, reduces friction, broadens reach, and simplifies enrolment and supports the delivery of health cover at scale.
