bolttech expands MediaMarkt partnership to Spain

Marking the launch of MediaMarkt “Alquílalo España” rental programme

Madrid, Spain – 25 March 2026 – bolttech, the global insurtech, has partnered with MediaMarkt Spain to launch Alquílalo España, a new electronics rental programme designed to provide flexible, service-inclusive access to premium technology. Alquílalo España allows customers to rent high‑end devices across multiple categories on flexible 12–36 month terms (up to 48 months for consoles), with predictable costs through an integrated service pack covering key damage scenarios such as liquid and screen damage. Customers can upgrade to newer devices part‑way through longer contracts, and all devices are returned into a circular model at the end of the rental period, extending device lifecycles. The programme has already launched in 11 pilot stores on March 5^th and is expected to expand across all MediaMarkt Spain stores by the end of 2026.

The Spain launch builds on bolttech’s existing collaboration with MediaMarkt Poland, where the companies already support a range of device lifecycle services, including rental. The expansion into Spain reflects a broader ambition to scale lifecycle-based retail models across multiple European markets, reflecting increasing consumer demand for flexibility, affordability and sustainability, while enabling retailers to develop recurring revenue models and strengthen long-term customer engagement through lifecycle-based propositions.
