bolttech’s views on embedded insurance are featured in the latest report published by Kapronasia in collaboration with Thought Machine, “An Embedded Finance Future in Asia”.
Rohit Khattri, Asia Head of Insurance Exchange at bolttech, shared his insights on how embedded insurance can enable customers to access relevant insurance products with greater ease and convenience: “When a client is engaged at a particular time when buying a service or product, they are sensitised to the transaction, hence it is the right time to provide the additional service.”
Another benefit highlighted is how non-financial entities can deploy embedded solutions to make their core product more attractive. Rohit cites the example of an e-commerce platform embedding insurance as an offering to premium customers, which may drive confidence in the underlying platform.
In the report, Rohit also explains how embedded insurance can help spur product innovation, by personalising the offering “exactly to the client’s need at the point of transaction so that the client gets an appropriate product with the precise coverage for the exact term.”
