Singapore, 20 October 2022 – International insurtech bolttech has been named by Sønr, an insurance market intelligence platform, to its 4th annual Insurtech 100 list. bolttech has climbed to 5th place on this year’s list, becoming the highest-ranking Asia-based insurtech, as well as the youngest company overall on the list.
First published in 2018, the Sønr Insurtech 100 is a compilation of the leading startups, scaleups and innovators driving change in insurance globally. The list is curated from tens of thousands of companies through Sønr’s comprehensive global dataset, as well as analysis from world-class industry experts.
This achievement follows bolttech’s announcement of its Series B funding round, led by Tokio Marine, bringing the firm to an up-round valuation of approximately US$1.5 billion. Last year, the Singapore-based insurtech achieved unicorn status after raising the largest ever Series A funding round.
