Vienna, 22 November 2021 – International insurtech bolttech has extended its device insurance programme in Austria as part of an exclusive partnership deal with mobile virtual network operator, MTEL Austria.
Reflecting bolttech’s vision of ‘connecting people with more ways to protect the things they value’, MTEL-Schutz offers MTEL Austria’s customers – which total almost 100,000 - the opportunity to insure their device for damage with the option to quickly replace or repair their device. The insurance is available either online via MTEL Austria’s website or in person through its network of stores around the country.

The launch of MTEL Schutz follows bolttech’s successful closing of the largest ever insurtech Series A funding round, giving the company unicorn status, and the acceleration of its European build-out with the acquisition of i-surance earlier this year.
