Lotte Hi-Mart and bolttech partner to launch comprehensive device upgrade programme in Korea

The programme will offer integrated repair and replacement care services tailored for frequent iPhone upgraders with unlimited damage repairs and flexible upgrades

Seoul, 2 October 2025 – Lotte Hi-Mart, one of the largest electronic goods retailers in South Korea, has partnered with bolttech, a trusted provider of embedded protection solutions to launch ‘iPhone 17 Upgrade Service, designed to support repairs and device upgrades for iPhone users in Korea. This follows Lotte Hi-Mart and bolttech’s earlier collaboration to offer the first-ever device switching service in South Korea.

Unlike traditional mobile insurance, the new service combines comprehensive damage repair coverage with upgrade benefits, enabling customers to seamlessly switch to the latest iPhone models affordably. All enrolling customers can enjoy:

The service will be available for enrolment at all Lotte Hi-Mart stores nationwide starting 13 September, coinciding with the iPhone 17 pre-order period. Customers who purchase devices through mobile carriers can sign up until 30 November 2025, while those purchasing unlocked devices can register until 31 March 2026.

Alongside the launch, Lotte Hi-Mart is also expanding after-sales support by providing Apple product repair reception services, strengthening its competitiveness in offering total care services that span both home appliances and digital devices.
