Hong Kong/ Singapore/ Kuala Lumpur, 7 April 2020 – AmTrust Mobile Solutions Singapore Pte. Ltd. (“AMS”) today announced the rebranding of its business to bolttech, following Pacific Century Group’s (“PCG”) acquisition of AMS in June 2019.
bolttech is PCG’s international digital protection and insurance business, part of PCG’s growing suite of customer-led, technology-driven general insurance and protection capabilities. The brand launched earlier this year, and the group is currently present in 11 markets across three continents.

bolttech delivers fast and easy device protection through repair and delivery services, switch programmes, trade-ins and technical support to protect customers’ electronic devices for an uninterrupted digital lifestyle. With the acquisition of AMS, the group now has operations in the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and India, with more than five million effective customers and over 500,000 new customers per month. The group also has greenfield device protection operations in Hong Kong and Italy.

The rebranding of AmTrust Mobile Solutions to bolttech will be completed in various markets in April and May, starting with Malaysia followed by the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam. The rebranding of the AMS business in India will follow later this year.
AMS’ customers will not be affected by the rebranding to bolttech. They will continue to receive protection and uninterrupted customer service in accordance with the terms of their service plans.
